Sustainability

Our commitment to sustainability has inspired us to choose new production paradigms that contemplate the care of natural resources at each stage of production. Because we understand that wines that express our terroir can only come from vineyards in balance with their natural environment, every day we strive to be more sustainable.

Vineyards

We work every day with the commitment to obtain high quality grapes that are produced in environments that respect the nature.

After several years of carefully studying the ecosystems of our farms, since 2020 we have certified the process of transition to organic production in all our vineyards.
We take care of the soils growing herbaceous vegetables between the rows.
We use precision farming techniques and we measure the water content of the vines in order to only use the necessary water and we implemented the drip irrigation system in all farms.
We promote the care of native flora and fauna, leaving uncultivated areas with remnant vegetation and thus favoring biodiversity.
We intervene in our vineyards with farming practices that improve the health of the vines and we implement biological techniques for the integrated pest management.

Winery

In the winery we work with protocols and procedures that take care of the environment while respecting the international standards.

Since 2018 we certified the Sustainability Protocol by Bodegas de Argentina, becoming one of the first wineries in the Cuyo region to bet on sustainability in the wine production.
We measure the water that we use so that the ratio with the liters of wine produced complies with international standards.
We separate and recycle our waste, we work with our suppliers to reuse packaging and we reduce the consumption of materials in general.
In order to reduce the impact of our packaging on the environment, we use lightweight bottles and recycled cardboard cases.
We measure the energy consumption to be more efficient.
Because we also care about animal welfare, since 2019 we certify private protocols that guarantee that our production is vegan and that we do not use inputs of animal origin.
Food safety is present in every winemaking decision we make, which is why since 2016 we certify the international HACCP standard and we maintain strict controls for the continuous improvement of our processes.
